Great store with a very good selection of boating / fishing gear. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The only reason I gave it 4 🌟 is that I was charged full price on a marked down product at the till and didn't realize until I got home. Likely the scanner wasn't updated with the shelf price. Regardless, I will still shop here.

Edit: My previous review of The Harbour Chandler was 1 star. I've revised my review for the following reason: I believe it was due to my experience with one bad employee. All of what I previously stated was true; however, another employee (Jared) reached out to discuss the issue and see if there was a way to rectify the situation. I agreed to return to the store to speak with him and he seemed genuinely disappointed that our previous experience was so poor. We discussed the issue a bit more and he offered a discount on our next purchase and we agreed to give them another chance. We'd never had issues before our last visit and generally liked the store, but one terrible experience can really leave a bad taste. Jared recognized that and made an effort to repair our view of the store. We'll return and hopefully keep seeing the kind of customer service we'd previously had. Original review: Do not buy a dinghy from them! Big issue with a return of an unused, defective item. They did the bare minimum by exchanging it but basically gave me the middle finger regarding any other compensation for an hour and 20 minutes of additional driving required. Was told there would be some compensation when I called for the exchange. At the store, was told I already got it at sale price so too bad because they would lose money giving me anything else. So I guess I'll just lose the money then. I've bought things here for 8 years, this was my last purchase.

I’ve been shopping here for the last 10 years for all my boating needs. By far one of the best marine parts/fishing stores in the whole middle island. They have a vast selection on every kind of stainless faster you’d need all the way to every kind of electrical connector/wiring you’d need. Big shout out to Tim in the electrical department, Tim has has a lot of helpful knowledge with anything boating and has helped me out countless times. Keep up the great work! Cheers
